- A live call costs 1 or 5 credits. A repeat inside the cache window costs 0 and says
cached: true. SendCache-Control: no-cacheto force a fresh read. - Retries
- Add an
Idempotency-Keyheader and a retry can never charge twice.

Errors
- MISSING_API_KEY [401]
- Missing API key. Send it in the x-api-key header or as 'Authorization: Bearer <your key>'. Do not retry without a change.
- INVALID_API_KEY [401]
- That API key is not valid. Check it for typos or create a new one. Do not retry without a change.
- ENDPOINT_NOT_FOUND [404]
- No endpoint at that path. List the catalogue at /v1/utility/endpoints. Do not retry without a change.
- INVALID_REQUEST [400]
- One or more request parameters are invalid. Do not retry without a change.
- INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS [402]
- This call costs more credits than the account has left. Top up and retry. Do not retry without a change.
- RATE_LIMITED [429]
- Rate limit for this key reached. Wait for Retry-After seconds. Safe to retry.
- CONCURRENCY_LIMITED [429]
- Concurrency ceiling for this key reached. Retry when an in-flight call finishes. Safe to retry.
- IDEMPOTENCY_IN_PROGRESS [409]
- A request with this Idempotency-Key is still running. Retry after Retry-After. Safe to retry.
- UPSTREAM_FAILED [502]
- The upstream platform failed. No credits were charged. Retry later. Safe to retry.
- UPSTREAM_NOT_FOUND [404]
- The upstream platform has no such record. Do not retry without a change.
- NOT_IMPLEMENTED [501]
- This endpoint exists in the catalogue but has no live adapter yet. See /v1/utility/coverage for status. Do not retry without a change.
- PROVIDER_NOT_CONFIGURED [501]
- This endpoint is routed to an upstream provider that has no credentials configured on this deployment. Do not retry without a change.
- INTERNAL_ERROR [500]
- Unexpected gateway failure. No credits were charged. Safe to retry.
